Monday.
Again.
I was going to have a hard time getting out of bed this morning
...but then I remembered.
I only have to go to work 2 days this week.
Hallelujah!!
That's right, ladies and gents.
Tyler and I are headed to Vegas on Wednesday morning.
Who's excited??
WE ARE!!!!
Have you ever been there?
Do you have any tips for first-timers?
What to see? What to do? What not to do or see?
I will be a little MIA this week...but no worries.
I have a special guest for you on Friday. :)
How was your weekend?
Was it busy or did you get to relax?
Here's just a part of what we did:
Friday evening, we had our supper delivered to us!
LOVED that...growing up, we lived too far out for delivery to even think about coming our way.
I updated my shop. Use code 'freeship' for free shipping!
We went car shopping {or maybe car "looking"}.
I got to sew for a bit.
We went to the shooting range yesterday. We tried out Tyler's new gun.
I colored my hair. And found out that my hair is going straight. Again.
Oh, and I got some Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate mix.
Go get some...you won't be disappointed! {Target!}
Isn't that a beautiful sunset? I saw it last night in the Wal-Mart parking lot.
God is good. :)

I hope that you'll have a wonderful week!!
If you have any Vegas tips for us, please let us know!
I'm looking forward to spending quality time with my hubby this week. :)
OH!!! She Reads Truth is starting a new reading plan today.
Will you join in?
Las Vegas is a great time. The Strip in Las Vegas will remind you a little bit of Branson Its the big major thoroughfare through Vegas. At one end of the strip is the Pawn Stars shop (as seen on the History channel). The Bellagio hotel fountains are spectacular at night. The Fremont Street Experience especially on Friday night is fantastic. Big laser show, bands, lots to see (including Trump tower), the rent-a-car place is a shuttle drive from the airport. Lots of casinos. Be very disciplined out there. When I went out there for a conference in October, my wife and I were able to decide on a certain amount for that and then I was through.
ReplyDeleteOne other thing. The MGM Grand hotel is fantastic as you can see things you have seen in the movies. The hotels expect tourists to come in and either pass through or stay or eat at a restaurant there. So don't sweat that stuff. Take it all in! Make sure your camera is packed. Which hotel are you and Tyler staying at?
ReplyDeleteI have never been to Vegas and probably never will, BUT I hear their plays and food are amazing!:) I bet you guys will have an amazing time! We are actually going to Branson this Thursday thru Saturday!:) Silver Dollar City here we come! We are meeting up with some dear friends of ours and staying in a house by the lake for FREE! Woohoo!
ReplyDeleteAll the hotels are amazing. Take your time and walk around. The gardens at Bellagio - so pretty. I was out there for work, but I would have loved to be there for fun.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good monday!
